Summary
Five small post medieval chalk pits are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1948 in the vicinity of Higher Combe Farm, Rampisham. They are not marked on the Ordnance Survey 1st edition map but were digitally plotted during the Upper Frome and Sydling Valley AIM project.

Full Description
Two small post medieval chalk pits is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1948 to the south of West Hill, west of Evershot village [1]. They are not marked on the Ordnance Survey 1st edition map but were digitally plotted during the Upper Frome and Sydling Valley AIM project.
