Summary
A building with associated enclosure and small hollow are marked but un-annotated on the 1st edition 1:25-inch scale Ordnance Survey map to the north of what is now South Wraxall Farm. The hollow is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery and is considered to be the site of a post medieval chalk pit. It was digitally plotted during the Upper Frome and Sydling Valley AIM project.

A building with associated enclosure and small hollow are marked but un-annotated on the 1st edition 1:25-inch scale Ordnance Survey map to the north of what is now South Wraxall Farm [1]. The hollow is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery [2] and is considered to be the site of a post medieval chalk pit. It was digitally plotted during the Upper Frome and Sydling Valley AIM project.
