Full Description
A group of three connected rectilinear enclosures collectively measuring c90 metres north to south and c55 metres east to west, a co-aligned with and apparently adjoining the western flanking ditch of the former Badbury Rings to Bath Roman road. The features are clearly visible on aerial photographs dated 2018.
A faint circular ditched feature c10 metres in diameter (potentially the remains of a plough-levelled Bronze Age round barrow) is bisected by the western ditch of the southernmost enclosure. Cropmarks indicating other rectilinear and polygonal enclosures can also be seen just to the south west, in the same field.
