Bank and ditched field boundaries with associated cultivation marks are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946 in fields to the north and east of Higher Combe Farm, Rampisham. The features are considered to be part of a field system of medieval or post medieval date and were digitally plotted during the Upper Frome and Sydling Valley AIM project.
