Summary

Parallel medieval or post medieval cultivation marks with associated field boundaries are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946 to the south of Chick's Coppice, Broad Witcham. The features were digitally plotted during the Upper Frome and Sydling Valley AIM project.

Full Description

Parallel medieval or post medieval cultivation marks with associated field boundaries are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946 to the south of Chick's Coppice, Broad Witcham [1]. The features were digitally plotted during the Upper Frome and Sydling Valley AIM project, they have since been levelled and are not visible on Google Earth imagery [2].
