Parallel medieval cultivation marks are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946 in a field to the east of Chick's Coppice [1]. The features were digitally plotted during the Upper Frome and Sydling Valley AIM project, they have since been levelled and are not visible on Google Earth imagery [2].
