Summary
The Pilbox Study Group note the site of a probable Second World War roadblock on Stanley Green Road. The roadblock is inferred from RAF aerial photographs dated January 1947, marking the point where the road crosses a former large drain or anti-tank ditch cutting across peripheral salt marsh.
