Summary
The Pillbox Study Group list a Second World War blast shelter of unspecified type at approximately this location, visible on Royal Air Force vertical aerial photographs dated  January 1947. By 1947 the shelter lay in isolation in an open field, but it may originally have served tented or other temporary accommodation.
