Summary

Pillbox Study Group list a Second World War blast shelter of unspecified type at approximately this location, visible on Royal Air Force vertical aerial photographs dated January 1947, and associated with a small dispersal of military huttments and other infrastructure.

Full Description

It is unclear whether or not this small encampment was part of RAF Tarrant Rushton. The shelter has been removed and its site returned to agricultural use. The former Cutler's Coppice is similarly no longer extant.
