The Pillbox Study Group list a NNW-SSE aligned row of concrete anti-tank blocks, originally crossing allottment gardens west of Wimborne Road, from its junction with Stokes Avenue at its southern end, and joining a large drain or anti-tank ditch at its northern end, south of what is now Mellstock Road. The blocks are clearly visible on RAF vertical aerial photographs dated January 1947.

At least some of the blocks are reported to survive in situ at the southern end of the car park for St Mary's Roman Catholic church. Those crossing the allottments may well have been removed.
