The Pillbox Study Group note the discovery of two slightly ex-sity Second World War concrete anti-tank blocks, one pyramid-topped, at about this location during the removal of landslip debris at Monmouth Beach.

The PSG list the blocks as extant. It is entirely likely that these are the two re-located blocks visible at OS NGR 333476 91498 on Google Earth aerial imagery dated 2018.
