Summary
The Pillbox Study Group note a former Second World War trench of uncertain form at the foot of the coastal slope at West Undercliff Promenade, immediately south of the Bournemouth International Centreas listed by M A Edgington. The trench probably formed part of a complex of anti-invasion defences securing a potential access transit route through the sea-cliff on this part of the coast.
