The earthworks of possible medieval ridge and furrow cultivation are visible on current Lidar imagery to the northwest of Notton Farm, Maiden Newton (1). Banked curvilinear features along the southern edge of the ridge and furrow may be associated medieval headlands. The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Frome AIM project.
