A broad linear banked feature is visible as an earthwork on current Lidar imagery on the west side of Cruxton Manor Farm, Maiden Newton. The feature may be a field boundary, possibly of medieval date, although an older origin is possible. It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Frome AIM project.

Full Description

A broad linear banked feature is visible as an earthwork on current Lidar imagery on the west side of Cruxton Manor Farm, Maiden Newton (1). The feature is just under 12m wide and slightly curvilinear in form. It may be a field boundary, possibly of medieval date, although an older origin is possible. It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Frome AIM project.
