Curvilinear ridges and ditches of probable medieval ridge and furrow cultivation are visible as cropmarks on 1940s aerial photographs on Blastmoor Hill, Maiden Newton (1). The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Frome AIM project. They are no longer visible on current Google Earth imagery.
