Summary
A sub-circular mound is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs on Shearplace Hill, Sydling St Nicholas. The feature may be a Bronze Age barrow, possibly one of those recorded under NRHE Hob UID 453165. The feature was digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Frome AIM project.

Full Description
A sub-circular mound is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs on Shearplace Hill, Sydling St Nicholas (1, 2). The feature measures approximately 10m in diameter. It is situated to the south of a Middle to Late Bronze Age enclosure (MDO42932) and adjacent (30m distant) to a similar mound to the east (MDO42935).
The feature may be a Bronze Age barrow, possibly one of two recorded under NRHE Hob UID 453165. It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Frome AIM project.
The feature is still visible on current Google Earth imagery (3).
