Summary
Two short parallel banked linear features are visible as earthworks on 1940s aerial photographs to thewest of Flowers Farm, Batcombe. The features may be field boundaries, possibly late prehistoric in origin, but they may aternatively be natural geological features. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Frome AIM project.

Full Description
Two short parallel banked linear features are visible as earthworks on 1940s aerial photographs to thewest of Flowers Farm, Batcombe (1). The features may be field boundaries, possibly prehistoric in origin, but they may aternatively be natural geological features. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Frome AIM project.
The features are still faintly visible on current Google Earth imagery, possibly plough reduced.
