Please read our guidance about the use of Dorset Historic Environment Record data.
Summary
Banked curvilinear features are visible as earthworks on 1940s aerial photographs to the east of Frome St Quintin. The features are thought likely to be historic field boundaries, possibly of medieval date, although a later origin is also possible. One of the linear banks appears truncated by a later gravel pit (MDO43074). The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Frome AIM project.
