An area of narrow ridged and ditched cultivation is visible as earthworks on 1940s aerial photographs on Buckland Hill, Sydling St Nicholas (1). The features may be those of post medieval narrow ridge and furrow. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Frome AIM project. The features are no longer visible on Google Earth imagery.
