Full Description
An irregular ditched feature is visible as an earthwork on 1940s aerial photographs on Folly Hill, Cattistock (1). The 64.5m long by up to 17.8m wide feature is recorded as an old quarry on the OS 1st Edition map and is probably post medieval in date (2). It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Frome AIM project.
The feature is still visible on 2010 Google Earth imagery (3).
