The features may be those of medieval ridge and furrow and were digitally plotted during the Upper Frome and Sydling Valley AIM project.

Full Description

An area of ridged and ditched cultivation with associated banked field boundaries are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken to the west of Frome St Quintin [1]. The features may be those of medieval ridge and furrow and were digitally plotted during the Upper Frome and Sydling Valley AIM project. The linear field boundaries are still visible as cropmarks on 2020 Google Earth imagery [2].
