Summary
A World War II road block or tank trap used to block a road tunnel at Wootton Fitzpaine. The structure was constructed in 1940-41 and consists of U-shaped structures made of lengths of steel rail now located in an old gravel pit on land of Thistlegate House, adjacent to the tunnel.

Full Description
U-shaped structures made of lengths of steel rail, which may have been used to block the adjacent road tunnel. In old gravel pit on land of Thistlegate House, adjacent to a former road tunnel. A field visit in 2001 found the structure to be extant. <1>
