Monument record MDO4329 - Bowl barrow on Breeze Hill, Melbury Abbas

Summary
A Bronze Age ditched bowl barrow, part of a dispersed group of barrows on Breeze Hill. When visited by the Ordnance Survey in 1956, this barrow had been ploughed out and only faint unsurveyable traces remained.
The record for this monument has been enhanced with support from Wessex Water.

Listed under bowl barrows (A' is also referred to a list of Long Barrows, but it is not mentioned in that list.) 'B'. Diameter 7 paces; height 6 ins. <2>
'B' This barrow has been ploughed out, and only faint unsurveyable traces remain. Its site is grass and stubble covered. <3>
