Full Description
ST759157. Newnham DMV. The earliest reference to Newnham is 1244 and was recorded by Hutchins in 1869. The 1839 Tithe Map of Stalbridge shows a group of buildings and the field in which they lie as 'Lower Great Newnham, with hall and buildings', while the adjacent fields are named 'Little Newnhams' and 'Newnhams Orchard', <1-3>
