Full Description

(ST 8517 Bedchester shrunken village sited from OS 1:10000 1983) Bedchester. formerly a Saxon hamlet belonging to Milton Abbey, the modern buildings now blur the outline of the original settlement which was almost certainly centred at ST 852175. <1>
