Full Description

'A' - A grass covered bowl barrow, 17.0m diameter and 1.8m high, flattened on top with sides irregularly spread, apparently by excavation. There is a surrounding ditch 2.0m wide and 0.2m deep. <2> 'A' - (32) - SY 82169911. Bowl barrow, 55ft diameter and 5ft high, much disturbed with traces of a ditch. A cut has been made through the centre and recently the north side has been quarried for chalk. Grinsell lists all three barrows as bowl-type. <3-4> 'A' SY 82169910. Bowl barrow under grass in arable, but not ploughed. Diameter 16.0 metres, height 1.8 metres. There are now no visible traces of a ditch. … 'A' and 'B' resurveyed, and 'C' Surveyed, at 1:2500 on M.S.D. <5>
