Summary
Site of twine works built in 1892 and converted to a brewery in 1912 with three 20-quarter steeps, the addition of a small sweating kiln and a large free-standing wedge-wire drying kiln, one of the first in the district to have an automatic turning apparatus. After World War II, most of the site was used by westover Motors, and the whole site has been redeveloped since 1974.
