Monument record MDO43790 - Prehistoric enclosure,
Please read our guidance about the use of Dorset Historic Environment Record data.
Summary
An oval bank and ditch is visible as slight earthworks and cropmarks on aerial photographs taken in 2009 and on LiDAR imagery. This is interpreted as an enclosure of probable late prehistoric date. The enclosed area measures approximately 150m by 175m.

Full Description
No entrances are evident on the western side of the enclosure. The eastern side of the enclosure is less well preserved, but there are interruptions in the circuit at north east and south east which may indicate entrances. Other much less distinct earthworks to the east suggest this may be part of a more complex feature, possibly a banjo enclosure, though larger than usual.
