A series of ditched linear features to the northwest of Tarrant Hinton and Tarrant Launceston are visible as earthworks on Environment Agency lidar imagery. The features are likely to be field boundaries associated with a later prehistoric field system, although some of the features may be of later, possibly medieval to post medieval, origin. The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AI&M project.
