Full Description

A double ditched feature is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs and was digitally recorded during the Dorset Middle (1-2). The ditches are 20m apart and the feature (including small stretches of bank) runs for 400m northwestwards from Badbury Rings. It is similar in width to MDO5898 Roman road which lies 100m to the east and is therefore potentially the course of a Roman road, or a later boundary or trackway.
