Full Description
The possible remains of a Bronze Age round barrow were recorded as soilmarks on 2015 Historic England oblique aerial photographs. It appears as a spread of chalky material measuring about 25m across surrounded by darker material, probably from the ditch.
It is centred at ST 9740 0499. <1>
The probable site of a Bronze Age bowl barrow is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs and was digitally recorded during the Dorset Middle Stour AI&M Project <2>. The barrow is 30m across and cut by a modern field boundary. It is visible as a ring ditch with the remians of a mound visible on the southern side of the boundary.
