A short linear earthwork is visible on aerial photographs taken in 1924 on the northeast side of Badbury Rings running from the outer rampart to the Roman road (MDO43973). It comprises a central ditch flanked by two banks and is of uncertain date. It is possibly a post medieval field boundary but could potentially be much older. It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project
