Summary
The potential site of a Bronze Age round barrow is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs to the northwest of Ram Lane, Shapwick. It is one of three potential barrow mounds to the east of the barrow described in MDO39429 was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.

Full Description
A Bronze Age round barrow, defined by two ring-ditches, was recorded as cropmarks on 2015 Historic England oblique aerial photographs and 2005 Google Earth vertical aerial photographs. The outer ditch is broader than the inner and encloses an area with a diameter of about 30m. The inner ditch encloses an area measuring about 20m across. It is centred at ST 9352 0255. <1-2>
The probable site of a plough-levelled mound 19m across is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs to the northwest of Ram Lane, Shapwick <3>. It is one of three mounds to the east of the barrow described in MDO39429 and is potentially the site of a Bronze Age round barrow. It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.
