Summary
The possible site of a later prehistoric boundary ditch or trackway is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs to the north west of Swan Way Copse, Shapwick. It cuts though one of a group of barrows forming a barrow cemetery (MDO44122) and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.

Full Description
A double ditched linear feature is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs to the north west of Swan Way Copse, Shapwick (1). It runs roughly SW-NE for 300m cutting though one of a group of barrows forming a barrow cemetery (MDO44122) . It is considered to be the site of a later prehistoric boundary ditch or trackway and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.
