Summary
A mound thought by Pitt-Rivers to be a barrow, and excavated by him. No burial was found, but the mound lay over deposits containing pottery of mid 2nd-century date.

Full Description
(ST 96391817) A mound on the NE side of the settlement at Woodcutts belongs to Phase II occupation. It was taken for a barrow by General Pitt-Rivers, but no burial was found when it was excavated. It overlay pottery of the mid 2nd century. <1-2>
A nettle-covered mound 9.0m diameter by 1.7m high, mutilated by rabbits. <3>
