An area of parallel cultivation marks is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946 to the south of Mill Lane, Shapwick. It is considered to be medieval or post medieval ridge and furrow or a drainage system. The site was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project, it has since been levelled.

An area of parallel cultivation marks is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946 [1] to the south of Mill Lane, Shapwick. It is considered to be medieval or post medieval ridge and furrow or a drainage system.
