Summary

A bank and ditched field boundary is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1947 to the east of Lophill Farm, Tarrant Keyneston. It is very straight and fits in with the modern system and is therefore considered to be of post medieval date. It has since been plough-levelled. The site was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.

Full Description

A bank and ditched field boundary is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1947 [1] to the east of Lophill Farm, Tarrant Keyneston. It is very straight and fits in with the modern system and is therefore considered to be of post medieval date. It has since been plough-levelled [2]. The site was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.
