Summary

A sub-circular ring-ditch is visible as a cropmark in a field to the northwest of Tarrant Rawston on an aerial photograph dated 1976. The feature is likely to be the outer ditch of a Bronze Age round barrow. It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.

Full Description

A sub-circular ring-ditch is visible as a cropmark in a field to the northwest of Tarrant Rawston on an aerial photograph dated 1976 [1]. The feature is approximately 15m in diameter on its outer edge, and approximately 0.7m wide. It is likely to be the outer ditch of a Bronze Age round barrow. It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.
