A system of parallel strip lynches or field boundaries is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery on the south and east facing slopes to the south of Beeches Barrow, Spetisbury. They are considered to be the remains of a medieval system of strip fields which was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.

A system of parallel strip lynches or field boundaries is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery on the south and east facing slopes to the south of Beeches Barrow, Spetisbury [1]. They are considered to be the remains of a medieval system of strip fields which was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.
