Summary
A series of curvilinear banks and lynchets are visible as earthworks in a field to the northeast of Tarrant Rawston on current lidar imagery. The features may form part of a later prehistoric field system, possibly of Iron Age to Roman period date. A Celtic field system is recorded to the southeast and overlapping these features in the National Monuments Record (NRHE Hob UID 209464) and the features may be associated with this. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.

Full Description
A series of curvilinear banks and lynchets are visible as earthworks in a field to the northeast of Tarrant Rawston on current lidar imagery [1]. The features may form part of a later prehistoric field system, possibly of Iron Age to Roman period date. A Celtic field system is recorded to the southeast and overlapping these features in the National Monuments Record (NRHE Hob UID 209464) and the features may be associated with this. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.
