A series of dispersed banked field boundaries is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery across the western portion of Shapwick parish [1]. The boundaries cover an area of over 60 hectares and may be prehistoric or medieval in date. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.
