Summary
A sub-circular ring-ditch is visible as a cropmark in a field to the east of Tarrant Rushton on an aerial photograph dated 1976. The feature may be the outer ditch of a Bronze Age round barrow. A further partial ring ditch, and possible barrow, is located just 5m to the southwest (MDO44385). The feature was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.

Full Description
A sub-circular ring-ditch is visible as a cropmark in a field to the east of Tarrant Rushton on an aerial photograph dated 1976 [1]. The feature comprises a 2m wide sub-circular ditch approximately 14m in diameter.The feature may be the outer ditch of a Bronze Age round barrow. It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.
A further partial ring ditch, and possible barrow, is located just 5m to the southwest (MDO44385).
