Summary
A partial sub-circular ring-ditch is visible as a cropmark in a field to the east of Tarrant Rushton on an aerial photograph dated 1976. The feature may be the outer ditch of a Bronze Age round barrow. A further ring ditch, and probable barrow, is located just 5m to the northwest (MDO44384). The feature was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.

Full Description
A partial sub-circular ring-ditch is visible as a cropmark in a field to the east of Tarrant Rushton on an aerial photograph dated 1976 [1]. The feature comprises a 1.2m wide sub-circular ditch approximately 14.8m in diameter, with a gap on its northwest side.The feature may be the outer ditch of a Bronze Age round barrow. It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.
A further ring ditch, and probable barrow, is located just 5m to the northwest (MDO44384).
