Full Description

ST 86 10. A Saxon hooked-tag, made of silver and decorated with a niello cross of Anglian type, was found on the hooks of the Iwerne river in the same field where a number of sceatters have been found. C9th or C10th, and of a type rare in Dorset. <1>
