Full Description
A photograph of a cross head, which had been dug up in a garden adjoining the old manor house at Fiddleford, was exhibited by Mr A Pope. <1>
ST 80111358 "I found this cross about 1912 and gave it to the church at Sturminster Newton .... It was a small cross head, about 15" across or less, and I think it was probably the antefix of a chapel". The cross was not found at the church and nothing was known about it. <2>
