Full Description

Field boundaries of probable medieval to post-medieval date are visible as earthworks to the southwest of Langton House, Langton Long Blandford, on aerial photographs and Environment Agency lidar imagery [1, 2]. An area of cultivation marks (MDO44451) also visible on aerial photographs [1] appears to overlie the linear features and may be later in date. The features are located within an area of parkland and are thought likely to be agricultural features pre-dating this. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.
