Full Description

An area of ridge and furrow cultivation of probable post medieval date is visible as earthworks to the southwest of Langton House, Langton Long Blandford, on 1940s aerial photographs [1]. The cultivation marks appear to overlie earlier field boundaries of possible medieval to post medieval date (MDO44443). The features are located within an area of parkland, which may post-date them. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.
