It is located close to a group of Bronze Age bowl barrows (MDO5136, 5137 and 4195) and a long barrow (MDO5135) and may be a further bowl barrow associated with this group. It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.

A possible Bronze Age bowl barrow is visible as a cropmark on Little Down, Langton Long Blandford, on 1940s aerial photographs. It is located close to a group of Bronze Age bowl barrows (MDO5136, 5137 and 4195) and 93m west of a long barrow (MDO5135). A further possible bowl barrow (MDO44456) is visible as a ring ditch cropmark just over 90m to the southeast. The feature may be a further bowl barrow associated with this group. It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.
