Summary
Multiple ditched linear features are visible as cropmarks to the northeast of Langton Long Blandford on aerial photographs. The features are considered to be field boundaries, trackways and enclosures forming part of a later prehistoric field system, possibly Iron Age to Roman in date, and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project. Some of the features are recorded under NRHE Hob UID 1403286

Full Description
A small rectangular enclosure is visible as cropmarks on air photographs taken April 15th 2002. Some linear features are also visible in the vicinity. <1>
Multiple ditched linear features are visible as cropmarks to the northeast of Langton Long Blandford on aerial photographs <2-5>. The features are considered to be field boundaries, trackways and enclosures forming part of a later prehistoric field system - possibly Iron Age to Roman in origin as they potentially overlay earthworks associated with linear earthworks and part of a Celtic field system (MDO4199), which are likely to be earlier (Bronze Age-Iron Age?) in date.
The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project. Some of the features are recorded under NRHE Hob UID 1403286
