Summary

Full Description
Cropmarks of a single ring ditch, approximately 30m in diameter, is visible on English Heritage Reconnaissance photographs taken on 27th August 2009. It is roughly centred at SU 0688 1365, lying 230m west of Paul’s Copse, and 80m east of the field’s western edge. The cropmark of an east-west linear ditch can be seen cutting this feature, which may be a relatively modern post-medieval field boundary. Another larger ring ditch, NRHE 1615428, lies approximately 10m north-west. These may be the remains of Bronze Age round barrows. <1>
